Dr. Rupendra Kumar Pachauri

Dr. Rupendra Kumar Pachauri, Associate Professor at UPES's School of Advanced Engineering, specializes in renewable energy technologies and electrical hybrid power generation systems. His research encompasses solar photovoltaic system performance enhancement, transactive energy management for multi-energy carrier-based networked microgrids, and hydrogen fuel cell power generation. Dr. Pachauri has collaborated with the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok, focusing on transactive energy management and fair cost allocation among multi-energy carrier networks. His work aims to improve grid efficiency, ensure continued service during blackouts, and foster the widespread use of renewable energy sources, thereby reducing the global carbon footprint.
