Dr. Prasanta Mandal

Dr. Prasanta Mandal, Associate Professor at UPES's School of Advanced Engineering, specializes in plasmonic and photonic metamaterials (PPMs). His research focuses on developing PPMs for applications in chemical sensing, forensic science, and solar energy harvesting. By utilizing Surface-Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS) spectroscopy, Dr. Mandal enables ultrasensitive molecular detection, enhancing the understanding of chemical interactions.
