Dr. Nidhi Chauhan

Dr. Nidhi Chauhan, Principal Investigator at UPES School of Health Sciences and Technology, has secured a prestigious grant from the Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) to establish the 'SWACHH - Social Wellness, Agriculture, Clean and Hospitable Habitat' Incubation Centre at UPES. This center is the first SPARSH-BIRAC Centre in Uttarakhand, dedicated to mentoring SPARSH fellows and young social innovators over a five-year period. The initiative focuses on three critical areas: Climate Resilience, Farm-to-Plate, and Public Health, aiming to develop impactful prototypes and technologies addressing societal challenges.
