The 38th National Symposium on Plasma Science & Technology (PLASMA-2023) is being organized by UPES Dehradun in association with Plasma Science Society of India (PSSI) during December 4-8,2023. The symposium is designed to provide a forum for young researchers in the area of Plasma Science & Technology to interact with eminent plasma scientists from India and to present their work. The scope of the symposium includes front-line research in basic plasma physics as well as significant advances in plasma technology. The scientific program of this four day symposium will consist of invited topical lectures and contributed oral and poster presentations in the areas of Plasma Science & Technology. Various awards will be given for the best posters and oral presentations under various areas.
The Plasma Science Society of India (PSSI) was established in 1978 with a mandate to provide a national platform for interaction between scientists and engineers of research and educational institutions involved in R&D in the areas of plasma and fusion science & technology. With over 2000 members, PSSI also supports popularization of plasma physics all over India and also supports activities in the form of fellowships, awards and recognition in the area of plasma and fusion science & technology.
