UPES School of Health Sciences and Technology and Oil India Limited (OIL) – a govt. of India enterprise – have collaborated to conduct joint research in petroleum exploration and bio-surfactant producing microbes-based enhanced oil recovery. As part of the agreement, OIL experts will also provide guest lectures to SoHST students.

OIL is a premier Indian National Oil Company engaged in the business of exploration, development and production of crude oil and natural gas. The second largest Indian-government owned hydrocarbon explorer and producer, it is under the ownership of Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India.
