Profile Summary

Dr. Saroj has worked in theoretical machine learning during her term as a PhD candidate at Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. Her research focused on incremental learning and unlearning using multiple views. Before this, she obtained her MTech degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. It was during this time that she discovered her interest in teaching.

Work Experience

Dr. Saroj joined UPES in July 2022 as an assistant professor in the School of Computer Science.

Teaching Philosophy

Dr. Saroj takes a flexible approach to teaching by identifying the collective need of her class and the individual needs of each student. She encourages active participation and believes in real-time feedback. Students can approach her anytime during office hours for any course-related queries.
