Profile Summary

Dr. Tanuj is working in the field of Harmonic Analysis, Wavelet theory, Integral transform and pseudo-differential operator. He pursued his Ph.D. from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad. He has qualified CSIR-NET in the field of Mathematical Sciences.

Work Experience

Before joining UPES, Dr. Tanuj was working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Advanced Sciences at VIT-AP.   Prior to this he has worked as a lecturer in the DBIT Dehradun.

Research Interests

Wavelet Theory, Harmonic Analysis, Pseudo Differential Operator, Integral Transform.

Teaching Philosophy

Dr. Tanuj has embraced a humanistic approach to teaching and learning, which is predicated on the idea that each learner's unique requirements, self-perception, and subjective emotions are the sources of their drive to learn. As an instructor, he aspires to do the following: 

  • Establish a fun, interesting, and respectful learning atmosphere in the classroom. 
  • Foster tolerance for all cultures and viewpoints. 
  • Employ a variety of techniques to meet the needs of students with different learning styles, such as technology-supported activities, case studies, talks that allow for questions, and discussion-based activities. 
  • Promote learning that is self-directed. 

Courses Taught

Dr. Tanuj has taught the Fundamental Engineering courses in his previous institutions. Other than that, he taught Discrete Mathematics, Statistics, and Analysis courses.
