Dr. Salman Ashraf earned his Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi, where his thesis explored the boundedness of linear operators on function spaces over local fields. He holds M.Sc. in Mathematics from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras and B.Sc. (Honours) in Mathematics from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. His research interests include Harmonic Analysis, Operator Theory, and Function Spaces.

Work Experience

After earning his Ph.D., Dr. Ashraf began his career at UPES as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics (Applied Science Cluster) under the School of Advanced Engineering.
