Anti Ragging Committee |
ARC constituted comprising of members including District authorities, Local Media, NGO, Parents, Students and Faculty/ Staff members of UPES. |

Anti Ragging Squad |
ARS constituted on comprising of members Faculty and Staff members of UPES.
The squad is being strengthened with the support of special security personnel's deployed to work in dedicated manner for Anti Ragging measures. This is in addition to the general security on campus.

Anti Ragging Helpline Cards |
Telephone numbers of all the members of Anti Ragging Committee & Anti Ragging Squad along with an E Mail ID have been printed and distributed amongst the First Year students & posted on notice board in campus and in hostels. Anti-ragging Toll free help line number is also being mentioned in the same Card every year. |

Bulk SMS |
Bulk SMS is being sent to all the senior Students and their parents for cautioning the students to refrain from indulging in Ragging as it attracts serious penalties and the same is being sent to their parents requesting them to advise their wards accordingly. |

Awareness/ Display of Laws and Effects of Ragging |
Notices/ Anti Ragging Poster are being put up on all notice boards, corridors and the stair cases not only on the campus but also on both on-campus and off-campus (contracted girl's hostels) where UPES Students are residing. |

Inductions & Orientations |
a)Freshers will be registered more than 15 days prior to the senior batch students and a 10 day Personality Enhancement Programme(PEP) is organized for them.
b)Each batch of freshers has been divided (on the basis of their stream and course) and a member of the faculty has been assigned as the Course Coordinator.
c) During induction all the freshers have been informed about the measures University has adopted to prevent Ragging both on campus and off-campus.
d) Fresher's party for each college has been scheduled by the end of August where the senior students shall host the freshers and the freshers shall perform before the seniors in presence of faculty. The freshers party will also cover the formal introduction of freshers with the senior students.

Hostels |
a) The security at the on-campus boys hostel has been augmented and care has been taken that the fresher's and seniors are housed in separate blocks. Similar instructions have been given to the off campus (contracted girl's hostels).
b)A list of privately run hostels (GIRLS & BOYS) where ever UPES students are residing has been prepared, wherein contact details of wardens/ owners have been incorporated.
c) Affidavits from all the Hostel owners (from the contracted girl's hostels) on the prescribed format is being received.
d) Meetings of all the off campus (the contracted girl's hostels) has been scheduled and they were made aware of the UGC regulations on Anti-Ragging measures to be adopted.
e) Surprise checks during the late hours will be conducted by the Anti- ragging Squad.
